Muzak and one of its technology partners, Dish Network, are implementing a new security procedure for the Muzak receiver (s) at your locations. The process of updating your receiver (s) is a self install of a new security card “Smart Card”. We are asking that your facilities install this card and follow a simple 4 step process. The music or video in your location may be temporarily off line during the conversion. We expect the conversion to take 10-15 minutes of your personnel’s time.
The steps associated with the card conversion are as follows:
1. Locate your Muzak/ Dish Network receiver.
2. Record the receiver number (located on back) and document the existing yellow card and new purple card numbers.
3. Exchange the existing yellow card for the new purple card.
4. Call 1.800.637.3752 to speak to a conversion specialist. Please note the hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time)
Once we receive your information we will do all the leg work with our partner to facilitate your services being restored. Typically the music/ video will be restored in a few minutes but may take up to 24 hours in extreme cases.
